How Health Funds make payments.

Last Updated: May 06, 2013 11:11AM AEST
It is important to note being accepted isn't the final step in the process. There may be a delay before the fund actually makes a payment to your nominated account. For most funds there's a payment run every week, however you can wait up to 3 weeks especially with BUPA funds (HBA, MBF, MCL, NRMA, SGI etc).

Cutting Edge will retrieve 'Eclipse Remittance Advice' (ERA) once the funds advise that payment has been made. This will automatically mark of the appropriate invoices as paid, and create an entry in the Payments table. You can drill down into the ERAs to see the details of each payment.

Depending on the banks' processing schedules, the ERA may arrive before or after the bank deposit. If after 48 hours this hasn't reconciled, contact
